Born in 1934, Jonathan E. is a retired florist from Birmingham. Now 87 years old, Jonathan was the second youngest of seven children and has remained a bachelor. He served two years of National Service in the Far East, achieving a promotion, and enjoys gardening, baking, and home decorating.

Leisa Ebere, originally born in San Francisco, California now resides in Gravesend in the UK. She is married with three children and one grandchild. Leisa has been writing poems and stories since the age of twelve and was inspired to write Crows and Angels, her debut novel, by the stories her grandmother told her, of her ancestors settling in the Dakota Territory. Jay W. Ess
Jay W. Ess was brought up in Northumberland, England, before becoming employed in agri-industry in Scotland, where he met and married his wife, Nancy. He later emigrated to Southern Africa, spending time in Zimbabwe and South Africa, and travelled through Africa, India, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland in a consulting capacity. Mr Ess has now retired to Royal Deeside, Scotland, to be nearer to his grandchildren. Some Stay, Some Die is his first published work.
