Alistair Paterson

Born in Surrey in 1935, Alistair Paterson joined the navy as an officer cadet at age seventeen. He served on many ships and became a captain before retiring in 1990. He married Anne in 1956, had four children and lived overseas in Malaysia, Malta, Italy and the USA. Authorship has a strong place in the Paterson family history and following his retirement, he wrote three books which are soon to be published.
