McDonald H. Savoury grew up in the Pilgrim Holiness church, later renamed the Wesleyan Holiness church. A prolific reader, he read and studied everything he could about the scriptures. He later joined the Seventh-day Adventist church, of which he is still a member today. He graduated from the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic in building drawing and worked in that field in private industry and in government service for sixteen years, until he was forced to retire due to loss of sight through glaucoma. After losing his vision in 1990, he started writing gospel tracts which he sold and also sent to Her Majesty Prison free of cost. In 2018 he published his first book, entitled “Who Were The Magi.” This book, “Christ the Great I AM” is his second publication.
