Born in Bristol in 1947, Ian Peacock has already written several articles for financial magazines and is now publishing his first book, ‘Bankers: From Pillars to Pariahs’.
Ian has had a long and varied career in banking, commerce and charities. He worked as a banker in London, New York and Hong Kong and was a special adviser to the Bank of England from 1998 - 2000. He was also chairman of Mothercare, Howden Joinery and the Westminster Abbey Finance Advisory Committee. He lives in London with his wife and enjoys travel, gardening and music in his spare time.
He is a Quondam Fellow of Hughes Hall, Cambridge.
