Chin Sheng Yang

Chin Sheng Yang was born in Taiwan and adopted at birth by a mason and his family. Growing up in poverty around the time of World War II, he did what he could to help his family survive, working as a peddler selling vegetables and candy on the street and a coolie, carrying bricks for his adopted father’s masonry projects, while also working hard at his studies to improve his circumstances.
