Geoffrey Taylor

Geoffrey Taylor was born in Gloucestershire, in the west of England, in 1963. At a village below the hill where the custom of cheese-rolling is raced. He first began experimenting in poetry at the age of twenty, which coincided with a first excursion to France. He started publishing his work in earnest in 1995. He has had his poems published in magazines such as ‘Rubies in the darkness,’ and ‘Awen’. Geoffrey won an international poetry competition with his poem, ‘Unpractised’.

David M Thomas

David Mansel Thomas was born in West Wales into a coal mining and agricultural community. In his teens he won an RAF Flying Scholarship but subsequent eyesight deterioration prevented him from pursuing this as a career. Having obtained a degree in Geology and Chemistry at London University, and as a petroleum geologist he embarked on overseas assignments in South East Asia, Libya and Tunisia. John Peter Thomas

John “Peter” Thomas spent his early days in Swansea, but after his town was blitzed in World War Two, his family moved to Cae-Newydd Farm in Garngoch Common and later to Trafle Lodge, Stafford Common. While at the farm he lived directly opposite the Garngoch collieries, which at the time were in full production as part of the war effort. He attended Dynevor Grammar School, Swansea, Swansea College of Technology and later, the universities of Birmingham and Wales. Peter Thomas

Peter Thomas has lived and worked in Hull, England, all his life. Born in 1958, Peter married Tina with whom he has two sons. His life has been dedicated to teaching seven to eleven-year-olds in Hull. Now retired, he is drawing on all those years of experience to bring entertaining anecdotes in the form of children’s short stories. William Thurl

William Thurl was born in Salford in 1946 and educated at Weston Primary and Hitchin Boys Grammar School in Hertfordshire. He obtained his Honours degree in German and French at King's College, London, in 1969. He has taught at schools in Stockton-On-Tees and Hertford, the latter for over 20 years, and now works occasionally as a Supply Teacher. He enjoys teaching Chess and is a Bridge Grandmaster, playing regularly for his County Team. He lives in Letchworth with his beautiful cat Chocolat and also often enjoys going to pub-quizzes.
