Joyti Singh spent her childhood in Asia. She then moved to England due to her parents’ careers. Despite a deep love for writing and the arts, Singh dedicated her career to science. A. Spring was born in the Southern Vietnamese city of Cần Thơ. A diligent and hard working, mostly self taught pupil, A. Spring started his career as a tax specialist. After ten years Spring was mobilised into the army, graduating to the rank of second lieutenant and placed in charge of an anti guerrilla force.
