Michael T Bruce

Michael T Bruce left school in the late ‘70s with little or no qualifications. As no one back in the ‘70s knew how to teach dyslexic people, he taught himself to read and write. After working on a hill farm in Derbyshire where he developed a love for horses, he spent six years in the armed forces. Diane Valerie Burgess

Diane Valerie Burgess was born in Birmingham in 1970. She has worked at British Rail, the Birmingham Heartlands Hospital and is the lead vocalist in a Carpenters tribute band.At twenty-seven, Diane was diagnosed with severe rheumatoid arthritis, which caused her right hand to become deformed, and in 2021, she suffered a stroke, which paralysed her left hand. Despite this, Diane is still able to write poetry, her favourite pastime. In September 2022, Diane’s life took on a new direction when married the first man she has ever loved.
